of Meditation


The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health of the National Institutes of Health has summarized some of the research on meditation, including findings that meditation can help with the following problems (click here for more details)

Anxiety

Depression

Insomnia

Fatigue

Pain

High Blood Pressure

Stress-Induced Inflammation

Irritable Bowel Syndrome

Ulcerative Colitis

Tobacco Addiction

In addition, meditation can improve the brain's ability to process information, possibly slowing, stalling or reversing the adverse cognitive effects of normal aging
